Case Summary
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives interpreted the Gun Control Act to cover certain products that can readily be converted into operational firearms or functional frames and receivers. The Court held that the rule was not facially inconsistent with the statute. The regulation could therefore remain in force while the lower court addressed remaining challenges.
