Case Summary
After Dominique Richardson shot Taylor Holcombe, an acquaintance testified that Richardson forced her from a car and shot her, and another witness described Richardson’s confession. Richardson challenged the sufficiency of the evidence and admission of an audio recording of a witness’s prior inconsistent statement. The Supreme Court of Georgia held the evidence sufficient under federal and Georgia law and any error in admitting the recording harmless because it was cumulative of strong evidence. It affirmed his convictions.
