Case Summary

Mexico sued American gun manufacturers alleging that they aided unlawful firearm trafficking by dealers. The Court held that the complaint did not plausibly allege the kind of aiding-and-abetting conduct required to overcome the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. The statute therefore barred the action at the pleading stage.
